The following is a list of organizations and a brief description of the services they may be able to provide during a disaster.  Detailed descriptions about these organizations can be found under Partners and Support Organizations. 

American Kennel Club (AKC) Funds to support shelter functions

American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA)

Shelter personnel were unfortunately not aware of NVOAD during the Katrina/Rita response so this resource was not used
